In 2002 I started my Quarter midget drivers training . My first Win was at the I-5 track in Vader WA.
I raced the Jr Novice Class for half the year then moved up to Jr Honda.
2003 season I raced 2 classes Jr.Honda and Jr.Stock. I finished 7th and 3rd in points for the year.
I picking up how to set up the other drivers to pass them.
2004 I was going to turn 9 before the end of the season so I had to move up to Sr. Honda. That was a big leap racing with the older kids(15-16) but learned quickly and finished 4th in points I took the Sr Stock Championship, my first one.
2005 I finished 4th again in Sr Honda and Moved from Sr.Stock lt.mod still more speed finished 2nd in the Lt.mod class
2006 was a good year 2nd at club and 4 points behind the points leader going into the last region race of the season. when the racing was over we still had 2nd wrapped up. I raced the dirt grands in Elma Washington, it was the first time being held on the west coast. I set fast time/track record that is still there and missed it in hvy mod by .008 of a second. I finished 2nd in both A- Mains
2007 Was my last year in quarter midgets Figures I might as well move up to faster cars. I rapped up 3 championships @ Club, Region, and the CKA winter series at the OAKWOOD track ask Kasey Kane about Oakwood some time . I bought the baby grand at the end of the year to get ready for next.
2008 I moved up to the Babygrand stock car at South Sound Speedway in Tenino Wa. a 3/8th mile paved oval track. I adjusted quickly to the faster speed, 110 mph in the babygrand to 40 mph in the Quarter Midget.
Only had on mishap on the first race day, got sideways and hit the brakes which barrel rolled the car.
My best finish was 3rd place and I won a trophy dash.
I finished 5th in points out of 12 races.
2009
Have a new paint job on the babygrand and a new Hank Scott engine. You can feel the power!!
Doing a lot better this year with 2 2nd place finishes and a 1st but I didn't stop at tech and got disqualified.
2010
My first track championship at south sound. I won 4 races and 4 2nds and lost the lead when the car shut down twice.
2011 is coming quick
Had the first gokart race at the new Raymond wa track. Had carb trouble and a broken chain.
The engine pulled strong leading 5 laps in the modified class with a stock engine.
Thanks to Gary Yoshi at Small Engine Repair. He had to totally rebuild it after it came backfromSteveCoopers
Small Engine Preformance, who had it for 6 months and sent it back with a stripped head bolt and a broken piston.
